PET160 Extreme Temperature Pressure Sensor

Operating up to 250°C, PET160 is a ruggedised pressure sensor dedicated to extreme temperature. With all stainless steel wetted parts, It is compatible with most media, including corrosive fluids used in automotive and aerospace industries. Equipped with the latest thin film technology developed by EFE, its performances and stability over wide temperature range are excellent. Models are available with unamplified and voltage outputs, thanks to a remote electronic module, packaged in a miniature stainless steel housing, fitted in the cable and operating up to 125°C.

EFE pressure sensors are designed to withstand the harshest environments. Supplying pressure sensors for on-board applications for over 35 years has made them aware of the constraints of such environments on sensors, especially miniature.

Harsh environment sensors consist often in applications combining high levels of shocks, vibrations, accelerations and temperature.

Nevertheless unsuitable sensors can also be damaged by corrosive fluids, radiations (nuclear), pressure pulsations or spikes.
